MVHS Awards Banquet
The MVHS community salutes all our teachers, coaches, moderators and students, who participated in activities throughout the 2007-2008 school year. We have had a successful year and on May 21st, we celebrate those accomplishments.
A special thank you to Mr. Carchidi for his work in arranging this event at Romano's at 6:00PM. Advance tickets are required.
The Arts Festival was a grand success!
Congratulations to all involved in our annual Arts Festival. There were many wonderful contributors; namely, singers, dancers, drummers, musicians, fashion models, wood workers, photographers, hair stylists, culinary crafts people and literary writers.
Special thanks goes to Sister Jeannette, our producer and director. We thanks all the teachers who gave of their time to organize this show.
We are very proud of your accomplishments.
PowerSchool doors are open to parents, guardians and students.

A letter was sent to all parents and guardians last week (week of May 5). It indicated the "log-in" information as promised. Remember to keep your and your child's password confidential. If you did not receive the PowerSchool letter, please call the main office or ext. 112.
As Sister Susan's newsletter piece mentioned, there may be bumps in the road during this period of time. We as a faculty wanted you to be able to check status on grades, assignments, discipline log and attendance. Remember to click blue and to follow the directions as posted. There is a handy link for information on our homepage.
As the letter mentioned, feel free to contact Mr. Huang (lhuang@mercyvhs.org or ext 120) if you have any difficulties. I know that PowerSchool does take a moment or two to load onto your computer.

MVHS is having a school SPIRIT DAY on Friday. Dismissal is at noon on Friday.
Students are encouraged to dress down and wear sneakers and the shirt of their team's colors. Faculty, staff and students will enjoy the day's indoor and outdoor activities together.
On Thursday, there will be a picnic lunch for all. On Thursday, we will have a faculty/student softball game.
