Mercy Vocational High School offers an academic program designed to meet the educational and career goals of students of varied interests and ability levels.
Our students graduate with the skills needed to be successful in the 21st century: critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and problem solving. We integrate within our core subjects the 21st century themes: global awareness, financial and economic understanding, civic responsibility, health literacy, and environmental consciousness.
We work to integrate academic learning with career and technical training. We also incorporate technology in all of our academic areas. We graduate a responsible digital citizen who is information and media literate and tech savvy so that technology is used effectively and responsibly.
Our academic curriculum provides graduates with a sound basis for continuing education, entry-level employment and apprenticeship programs. A graduate earns a high school diploma based on requirements defined by the Pennsylvania Department of Education and industry-recognized certifications in the student’s chosen career and technical program.
