The goal of the Mathematics Department at Mercy Vocational High School is to provide students with a solid foundation in varying areas of mathematics. All Mercy students are required to take four years of mathematics. The curriculum consists of the following:

Year One - Pre-Algebra or Algebra (Part I)
Year Two - Geometry
Year Three - Algebra (Part I or Part II)
Year Four - Consumer Math

In addition to the core curriculum listed above, math is integrated into all vocational areas.

Mercy Vocational High School graduates leave with math skills strong enough to go on to post-secondary programs or to enter the workforce as competent young men and women in their fields.
