Tools For Life

Pictured above at the Tools for Life Event: Frannie and Jim Maguire, Honorary CoChairs with Sister Rosemary Herron, RSM, President, Mercy Vocational High School.

Sister Rosemary Herron, RSM presents Gerry Cuddy, President and CEO of Beneficial Saving Bank, with the Work of Mercy Award.

Through the year-long effort, generosity and creativity on the part of the entire planning committee, made up of Board Members, friends and benefactors of Mercy and our Advancement Office, Mercy Vocational High School had the most successful special event ever!

The net amount raised was over $600,000! WOW!

We are deeply grateful for all who were present that night and for everyone who contributed to this amazing event. A very special thank you to Beneficial Bank and the Beneficial Foundation for their generous Presenting Sponsorship. We are deeply grateful to Gerry Cuddy who was awarded the "Work of Mercy" Award presented by Sr. Rosemary Herron, RSM the evening of the Tools for Life event. If you were present that evening, we hope you were touched by the energy in the room and the generosity of so many people who share in our mission to provide a Catholic education to those students whose educational and career goals are best served by a quality, comprehensive academic/vocational secondary school program.

We were so proud of our students and alumni who represented us that evening. They were thrilled to be a part of this event and really helped to affirm that your donation to MVHS is going directly toward educating the next generation of skilled-workers in Philadelphia.

Thank you for helping to provide these students with "Tools for Life".
