Vision Statement: To combine the following: talents, leadership, heart, and dedication starting with the head coach, Mr. Haley, and including each student athlete on the boys' soccer team, to win the 2010 Tri County League Soccer Championship. __________________________________________________________________________________________ Mission Statement: We will play a physical, but clean game of soccer, have a positive mental attitude, and play as a team-not a group of individuals-who are only concerned about their statistics. Additionally, we will welcome student athletes with soccer experience and without soccer experience, however all student athletes will work hard. __________________________________________________________________________________________ Success Statement: There is a graduate of our high school, who did not play soccer until he attended Mercy Vocational High School, but he was a starter on a college Mens' Soccer Team. __________________________________________________________________________________________
My coaching and leadership style: I want to win, but I will play a less talented player instead of a more talented player, who believes that he is entitled to do the following: trash talk, not be a team player, or exhibit poor sportsmanship. Additionally, if a player exhibits the aforementioned poor behavior consistently, he will be kicked off the team.

Positive Energy: I am 51 years old, which to some high school student athletes, may mean that my prom theme was the wheel. However, I work out all year round. In previous seasons, I have run, lifted weights, and done some of the drills with the team. I will continue to train with the team. By having a 51 year old train with the team, it brings positive energy to a team. Think about it, a high school student-athlete entertains quitting on a run and he observes a 51 year old completing the run. Therefore, if the coach can complete the run, so can a high school student-athlete.
